نظریۀ ترکیبی برون‌گرایی‌–درون‌گرایی معرفتی در معرفت‌شناسی فضیلت‌محور سوسا

چکیده

درون‌گرایی و برون‌گرایی یکی از مباحث مهم حوزۀ معرفت‌شناسی است. رویکرد درون‌گرایی، توجیه را بر مبنای دو مؤلفۀ اصلی مورد بررسی قرار می‌دهد: مؤلفۀ نخست؛ داشتن قرینه توسط فاعل شناسا و مؤلفۀ دوم؛ قابل‌دسترس بودن آن برای فاعل شناسا است. برون‌گرایان در مقابل، به قابل اعتماد بودن  فرآیندهای علی باورساز تأکید می‌کنند. در این میان رویکرد فضیلت‌محور ارنست سوسا امکان ارائۀ یک نظریۀ ترکیبی مبتنی بر درون‌گرایی‌– برون‌گرایی را مطرح می‌کند. این نظریه اگرچه در واقع رویکردی برون‌گرا است، اما درونی‌بودن توجیه در معرفت‌شناسی فضیلت‌محور سوسا بر اساس دسترسی شناختاری فاعل  شناسا به قابل اعتماد بودن فرآیند باورساز، تبیین می‌گردد.

چکیده [English]

Externalism and Internalism are among the most discussed problems in epistemology. Internalism includes two fundamental elements: a) the epistemic justification depends on having good evidence for a belief; b) what justifies a person’s beliefs must be something accessible to them. Externalism concentrates on the reliability of the causal process through which the belief was produced. Virtue-based theory of Ernest Sosa offered the possibility of a mixed theory: Externalism-Internalism theory. Virtue-based epistemology is an externalist approach, but what makes Sosa’s view externalist is the necessity of cognitive access of the believer to the fact that the belief-producing process is reliable.
