Abstract

The depiction of a political regime in which power and rule are justly distributed is one of the concerns that Aristotle and Mulla Sadra paid special attention to in their works. Aristotle, following this question, examines a variety of political regimes and criticizes them, and states that the fundamental objection of regimes in this regard is that each of them considers the mode of regimes to be absolutely just and no attention to aim of political community and the rule that bring citizens to virtue and to their common advantage and their self - flourishing (Eudaimonia). rulers that meet these aims are correct and just and otherwise defective. In Mulla Sadra's view, though, the aim of forming society and regimes is to meet common advantage, but it also has other aims that Aristotle's views on this are different. In his view, the main objective of regime and the formation of society is the attainment of mankind for God and fortunate happiness because in he view This world is like a passage. he is also a divine authority that is only left to those who are responsible for him, so only the rule of these people is fair and the other forms of regime are acceptable from the point of view of urgency. In this article, we will analyze the views of these two philosophers and compare their views on how to distribute powerjustly in the political regime and the criterion of merit for rule positions.
