The issue of "union of the soul with the active intellect" has long been the focus of attention of philosophers, especially Aristotelians, and has a direct impact on the series of epistemological functions of the active intellect. Through this research, it becomes clear that Ibn Sina, with the absolute impossibility of unity and rational and rational union, does not accept the union of the soul with the active intellect; But Sadr al-Muta'allehin, despite accepting the transformation of the essential and conceptual union of the soul with the active intellect, accepts and justifies the existential union of the soul with the "other" aspect of the active intellect as an inextricable union with the connected. Ibn Sina's argument seems to be their essential unity, so it is not inconsistent with the sound findings; On the other hand, some of the problems of the neo-Sadrists are inconsistent with the view of Sadr al-Muta'allehin, which we have dealt with in the text.
